I went shooting some today with another Sigma photographer – Bengt Werner and one of my former students Jimmy – We went to my grandfathers farm testing out some new toys I got – the 8-16mm super wide zoom and the 17-50 2.8 OS. I used both SD14 and SD15 – Most shots below taken using the SD15. I will review those lenses a little bit closer soon, but please examine these first. :)
Four shots below from here has been developed using Lightroom, the rest is all SPP 4.2.
Someone asked for higher ISO with SD15, so in the barn I went, checking out a cute cat and his friends.. The first shot is a un-processed ISO800 shot taken with the 17-50 OS – light was pretty bad so it’s a pretty good representation of what higher ISO looks like.
When thinks go darker and I need higher ISO then I go monochrome, like in the two shots above. Those are 1600+ (starting out from ISO800) – the cow shot is ISO3200. You don’t want to see that one in color. :) Or perhaps I’ll post one. Later.

Last shot will be one of Bengt.. I must say that light was a bit tricky, not entirely sure what temperature to pick. Light at the time was pretty warm, but air was cold. hmm..
