Yesterday I was waiting outside Linn’s workplace but she was in some meeting and I took a walk, with mw I had the two new ones – 8-16 and 17-50 2.8 OS. I just a few hours earlier been at the Sigma service spot near by and checked them because I felt focus was off – I calibrated both and now was really the first time for me to test and see if they performed out in the real world as well.

I wanted to try tricky light and all kinds of nasty stuff but totally forgot to switch over to RAW (which I never ever switch from if not when calibrating) and when I got back home I was so sad. :) See how sad I was. Some of these shots was shot with the new five shot HDR mode and put together with the very simple open source software called Enfuce .. Fantastic stuff which gives me a pretty flat thing to work from.

Anyways, here’s some of the shots. All hand held.

It’s not too bad now, is it? Can you guess which is 8-16 and which aren’t? Full size can be found here.
